Terms of business

These terms apply to drone work carried out by Navwis Management ApS unless otherwise agreed in writing.

In effect from 26 August 2026

01Scope

What the agreement covers

The job is agreed by phone or in writing and covers what has been agreed: the flight, the data capture and the described deliverable — raw data or a finished report.

If the scope changes during the work, it is agreed before the work continues.

02Billing

Rates and hours

Work is billed at the rates shown on the pricing page, or at a fixed price where that has been agreed. All amounts are excl. VAT. Intra-EU business customers are invoiced under the reverse charge procedure.

Time is counted door to door: from leaving home until returning and all documentation has been uploaded and reported. Driving, flying, data processing and reporting are included in the hourly rate.

  • Minimum two hours per job
  • Mileage at the current Danish state rate per kilometre, on top of the hourly rate
  • Evening, weekend and public holiday surcharges do not stack — the highest one counts
  • Payment terms: 8 days net unless otherwise agreed

03Weather and cancellation

When a job cannot be flown

The aircraft flies in up to 12 m/s of wind and not in precipitation. Operating temperature is −10 to 40 °C. The forecast is assessed the day before and again on the day.

If the job is cancelled or postponed because of weather before I leave home, it costs nothing. If the weather turns after I have set off, the time spent is billed and the job moves to another day.

If you cancel an agreed job for other reasons less than 24 hours before the agreed time, two hours are billed. That covers the time reserved that cannot be used for anything else.

04Permissions

Airspace, landowners and access

I obtain the permissions required for the flight itself: airspace clearance and the notifications the rules require of me as a remote pilot.

Access to the site, agreements with landowners and informing residents and neighbours are the client’s responsibility. That also applies where a job extends over neighbouring land during the work.

05Delivery

Material and rights

Material is delivered in the agreed format, normally within five working days of the flight. Where it is urgent, a deadline is agreed in advance.

The client receives a right of use to the material for the agreed purpose. Copyright in the imagery remains with Navwis Management ApS unless otherwise agreed in writing.

I may use material from a job as a reference, for example on this website — but only where that has been agreed, and never where it shows people, damage or details that could identify your client.

06Liability

Insurance and limitations

Statutory third-party liability insurance for drone operations is in place. Documentation is provided on request.

I am liable for damage caused during the flight under the general rules of Danish law. Liability does not extend to indirect loss, loss of operation or lost profit, and is limited in amount to the fee invoiced for the job in question.

I am not liable for the consequences of decisions taken on the basis of the delivered material. A thermal image shows differences in temperature, not causes — judging what should be done rests with the client and their advisers.

07Disputes

Governing law and venue

The agreement is governed by Danish law. Where a disagreement cannot be settled amicably, it is decided by the District Court of Horsens, Denmark.

Questions about the terms

If something needs to be agreed differently for a particular job, call. Most things can be arranged — they just need to be in writing before the work starts.
