Cookie policy

The site is static. It has no login, no basket, no forms and no analytics tools, so there are no cookies to set.

Under the Danish rules, consent is required only where information is stored on or read from your device for purposes beyond what is strictly necessary. There is therefore no accept button on this site — there is nothing to consent to.

One thing is stored: if you dismiss the notice at the foot of the page, your browser remembers that choice under the name navwis_besked_lukket, so the notice does not return. It holds no identifier and nothing about you, and it requires no consent because it only makes a feature work that you asked for yourself.

Nothing is loaded from other domains. The fonts were originally served by Google Fonts, which would have sent your IP address to Google. They now sit on my own server.

There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and no embedded video, maps or chat tools on the site.

navwis.com previously ran a different application, which stored a few tracking identifiers in the browser’s local storage. Because local storage belongs to the domain rather than to the application, they may still be present if you visited before August 2026.

The current site neither reads nor uses them. It actively removes them the first time you come by.

The web server keeps an operational log with IP address, time, path and browser. That is not a cookie and does not require consent, but it is processing of personal data. The log is deleted after 14 days.
