Level 1 · Basic Proficiency Trial
Basic flight proficiency
Coming soon
One day on the NIST lane, ending with a scored evaluation. You go home with proof of what you can do — in black and white.
What you take home
Three things to take home
- Certificate of proficiency with level and date — the short document you can show.
- Evaluation report with every exercise, time and score, the images from your targets and an assessment of what to train next.
- The flight log from the aircraft as a raw data file. Machine data that cannot be edited after the fact — that is what makes the report verifiable.

What we work on
For anyone holding A1/A3 who wants to level up or is facing a flight test — new commercial pilots, police, fire and rescue, the Home Guard and emergency-response volunteers. You fly your own drone, so the training sticks where it will be used.
- 01Introduction to the NIST system: the lane, omni targets and scoring principles
- 02Position: hover, yaw, climb and descent with image capture against targets
- 03Traverse: lateral flight and circuits with camera alignment against angled targets
- 04Precision landings, checklists and SOP discipline before, during and after flight
- 05Final evaluation with timing and scoring — and your certificate of proficiency
